Orlando Gas Gouging

Remember the good old days when gas only cost $2.53/gallon? Well, my friends, that was literally only yesterday. This picture was taken yesterday on my way home from work:

I had about a quarter tank of gas in my car when I left for work this morning. I didn't really need to get gas yet, but I thought I would take a look at the prices to see what they were doing. The first two gas stations I passed were completely out of gas. I sensed trouble.

When I finally got to the 7 Eleven that I pass every day on my way into work, I was shocked to see that the price had jumped 26 cents overnight! Holy crap! Not only that, but the line to get gas at the pump was about two or cars deep on each side. I guess you could say that there was a run on the pumps.
