So I'm not even finished packing yet. Its not that I'm procrastinating, its just that I'm trying to put it off a few more hours. I can't believe the big day is finally here. All that torture I went through with being put on the Alternate list and not being told my place on the list and not getting upgraded has led me to here.
This time tomorrow I'll be well on my way to Takaoka.
I started having a panic attack while I was in Barnes & Noble this afternoon. I started to realize that I have to take four trains from Narita to Takaoka all while carrying my Derek Zoolander luggage, wearing my surfer cowboy hat, and not being able to speak a full sentence of Japanese.
I know that the only thing Emily will pick out of that last sentence is that I'll be wearing a cowboy hat as I treck through the public transportation system of Japan. That's right Emily, when you pick me up at the train station, I'll be wearing a cowboy hat. I love you, too.
I still am unaware of exactly what I am getting myself into with this little adventure; I really don't know what to expect and I really don't know if I'll be able to get a job. I guess the only things that I AM sure of are that I'll be able to take some fantastic pictures with my brand spanking new S2 and that I'll be with Emily.
Anything beyond that will just be bonus.
