Second in a Series - Statues Covered in Snow

Every city in Japan is famous for something. Even the smallest little podunk town, like Fukuoka, where Emily works, is famous for something, like having the best Koi in Japan.

Takaoka is famous for her bronzework. The bronze bells, pots, and sculptures made here are shipped all across the country.

There are bronze statues on streets and in parks all over this town. I assume it is because Takaoka is famous for bronzework, but I may be wrong, and I probably am. I think the statues look particularly striking when they are covered by 3 feet of snow.

How about you?
