We Love Saipan Network

We all know about a certain negative website that, for lack of a better description, thinks that Saipan, well, let's just not go there. I believe that a google search of "saipan" produces this website as the sixth result. There is an ounce of truth in what the author writes, but it is overwhelmed by a quart of cynicism and a gallon of bitterness.

Saipan has her problems, but come on people, it is not like we live in Haiti or North Korea! Sure, Saipan has corruption, but Saipan also has a rich history, diverse cultures, and unparalleled natural beauty. I really hope that this blog and the Beautify CNMI! homepage help convey that to rest of the world.

A while back I posted a blog with a few ideas on how to combat this negative exposure. Often, when you find that you can't shut someone up, the next best thing is to drown them out. I posted what I thought would help do that.

Over the weekend I received an email from Walt Goodridge. We are going to come up with a list of things we can do to promote the CNMI in a positive light using the Internet. Come back in a few days for more...

Angelo: For what it's worth, a Google search of "saipan behavior" will show my site, www.stevenguyenonline.com, as ranking in the top spot and I share positive things about Saipan on my site. =)

I almost thought the title of this post was "Saipan Susu..." which would also be good, too.

Angelo's project is terribly misguided. Like, let's be all hyped about HOW WE LOOK and not realize that the Saipan Scks website actually, uh, has some good points. Does anyone deny that?

Someone once said, "My best friend is often my worst enemy."

But Angelo is like wanting to sweep all our junk under the rug and then say, "See, we are clean!" That is being a sort of liar!

Thank you for your comments, but blog trolling is terribly boring.

Saipan Sucks may be harsh and
use some overstatement, but many of us out here find out about living and working on saipan, the site is all too true.

Again, thank you very much for your comments. Since we are educating each other, please see:

Please continue to make constructive comments on this or any other website. Since you are sitting in front of a computer screen in West Palm Beach, Florida, though, I was wondering how you became such an expert on Saipan?
