The Micronesian Challenge is our El Plan de Desarrollo Integral Monteverde 2020, basically our long term sustainable development plan for Micronesia. Those of you who have been on the Associated Colleges of the South Costa Rica program know what I'm talking about.
So what is the Micronesia Challenge?
The Micronesia Challenge seeks to effectively conserve 30 percent of near shore marine resources and 20 percent of forest resources by 2020.
Sounds simple enough, right?

On a side note:
I think I've contracted the Bubonic Plague. Man, I hate being sick. I slept all day yesterday. Ugh. Our first "Beautify CNMI! takes on the Micronesian Challenge" meeting is on Thursday. I hope I feel better by then.
