My PrinciPAL Demands It

Boni says that I have to say something nice about all of the bloggers.

Harry: You take brilliant photos of sea slugs...plus you are the best media personality on Saipan. (That's two, Harry...and when I'm not joking about midget pirates and identity theft, I actually have nothing but good things to say about you.)

Jeff: You personify "Don't tread on me."

Bruce: You have a nice wife.

Boni: You read to your kids. Might not seem like a big deal, but it is.

Brad: When it comes to karaoke, you win.

Bree: There are a million things I could say, but I bet you weren't expecting me to say that you have the two healthiest looking dogs on Saipan. Good job.

Cinta: No one has made me feel more welcome on Saipan than you. Thank you.

EJ: Again, there are a lot of things I could say. I really like your blog. Wow, that sounded lame.

and then just for good measure, some of the people I have mentioned on this blog:

Tina Sablan: You really helped Beautify CNMI get started. Thank you.

Tina Sablan's supporters: Some of your posts about me are pretty funny. My favorite one is, "he picks up cans and girls."

Wendy Doromal: This one I'll skip.

Dengre: You point out things that have been swept under the rug. Thank you...and if you'd drop the snark you might find that you have a lot of allies out here.

Phew.

That was harder than I thought it would be. Sarcasm comes much easier.

Edit:

All right, here are a few more:

Melissa Simms: You are a lawyer and a Republican...but none of that matters because you are a Disney fan. One of these days I am going to challenge you to a game of Disney Trivia. You will lose.

DC: I think we've met in person no more than 5 times...and that includes the time at the bank...so I don't know you too well. Even so, you seem like the type of girl that every island mom wants to see her son marry....just don't tell your husband I said that. We all know that he could snap off my arms without breaking a sweat.

Diana: I admire your thumb war skills

Gus: Everyone loves Gus. If you don't like Gus, you hate life.

Bev: I trust you.

Marites: If you are not a blessing from God, then there is no God. You are humble, giving, and consistent. You are not just a leader in the Filipino community; you are a leader for all of us. Thank you.

David: You have a way of seeing the big picture while the rest of us are still asking for directions.

I agree that you mentioned the best thing about me, certainly the luckiest.

I think you could have added that I am a human rights advocate, as opposed to a government rights advocate.

That's one shiny star sticker for Angelo:) So here's my good thing about you - Angelo does not just talk, he is environmental action in cargo pants. Everyone talks about cleaning up our island, but you do it. And it isn't just about picking up trash, it's about creating a sustainable future for people who have yet to benefit from your work. My favorite - You like kids and they like you. Good job, good job, good, good, GOOD JOB!

I didn't make the blogger meetup b/c we had a PAWS board meeting... bad scheduling, I suppose.
