Saipan, Take 2

I feel like I've been gone for weeks!

Oh wait...I was.

The first thing that tells me that I am in Saipan is the smell. I remember recognizing it for the first time when I came back to visit in 1987. Ever since, I've always looked forward to the first breath of tropical air. It always hits me the second I step out of the airport.

I can't put my finger on what the smell comes from. The ocean? The humidity? The vegetation? All I know is that it smells like home.

Yeah, so I started digging through my emails this morning at 7:30. My To Do List stretches from here to Guam.

It's good to be back.

By the way, has anyone seen my Jeep?

Welcome back, Angelo.

I saw your jeep driving around a couple of times while you were gone and wondered who you had lent it to. Well, to be specific, I saw a jeep the same color and approximate age as yours. Sure looked like it. I saw it again yesterday at an autoshop over in Ck as I was driving by.

That would be the dark blue cherokee with the mattress in the back and the little lady with the cell phone riding shotgun for the two well dressed women in the back? Check the parking lot behind wild bills. Man, I don't envy your detailing bill.

Welcome Back Angelo!
Hope to see you around..
