Courage

For months now an anti-war vigil has been held at the American Memorial Park Court of Honor every Friday afternoon. Protesters stand in silence from 17:30 - 17:55.

One local man, a father, a husband, and a friend, is about to go off to war for a year-long tour of duty. He'll join a very large number of other men and women serving in Iraq.

The time has come to bring them home.

Please stand with us this afternoon.

I've been wary about expressing how I feel about this War in public. This island seems so pro-military and pro-Bush.

I worry that people can't separate supporting the troops and being anti-war.

People sure can't in the Florida.

I think there is a way to do this without dishonoring our soldiers, sailors, airmen, etc. Ang. I was there in spirit last night:)
