TaoTao Tano on Youtube

This video, titled "We're not gonna take it anymore," has pissed off a lot of people on Saipan. There is a lot of talk about it on the blogosphere. I figured I'd give my readers (both of you) the chance to see it...you gotta watch about 90 seconds before you get to the controversial stuff. So, what do you think?

Say what you want to say about Taotao Tano, they've got some really good propaganda making skills. Check out their anti-federalization teaser, New World Order video, and interview with Tina Sablan

Update!!!!

Taotao Tano posted a new "We're not gonna take it anymore" video, this time using pictures from this blog. I'm gonna be famous!

Just a note: I don't think that was Jeff Schorr leading the Unity March. I think it was somebody else with white hair.

It's my first time to see these, Angelo. Thanks for posting them.

No way they made the New World Order video. More like a latent John Bircher. That is a cut and paste job.

Question: Have they actually taken public credit for the Not Gonna Take It vid?

Very much so.

I expect these to make the press soon, either TV or newspaper.

Of course, giving them more exposure is exactly what the Taotaos want.

With exposure like that there is no need for rebuttal. What is their point anyway? To me it only shows ignorance and bias. A reversion to discrimination.
ie.1960's.

I'm missing the point on the Tina S. interview. She listened, she responded evenly. She even managed to look cute and smart at the same time. Last time I heard Greg C. on Harry's show, the pmpkn and I looked at each other as if to say, is this guy drunk this early in the morning? I'm shaking my head at the whole mess. The indigent population and the contract workers aren't/shouldn't be so far apart.

The videos are hilarious, as is your later Taotao Tano and the Chipmunks post.

I've discussed it with Tina, and we agree: these are great Unity Movement recruitment videos.

Finally! I'm part of a vast something-or-other conspiracy!

The anit-federalization teaser is slick. It is not amateur work. Too well written and structured. I don't think this can be TTT's own stuff. Look's like they are working with somebody. The Governor's slick lobbyists perhaps?

So who's being used?

Any idea what the background and soundtrack are?

You have a copyright in those pictures, Angelo.

Better go after TTT for your royalties.

Matt Smith does good IP work.

...my next post is about taking pictures off of other people's blogs. Should be ready in a few minutes. I just need to upload the video to Youtube.

The immigration video uses a song from a Arnold Schwarzenegger flick. I forget the name of the band, but the lead singer had red hair and the music video takes place in a jail cell.

It was the movie where he plays an Action Hero that gets magically pulled out of a movie into the real world.

We just enjoy visiting you all once in a while....

The smart mainlanders on Island are really concern of this minority groups of mainlanders. For Mr. Bateman, duh! can't you tell its a cut and paste work? sometimes man. oh! and for the holiday? no such thing for a federal public servant.

ho ho ho ho merry christmas to you all

and almost forgot for votewise07, guess again?

wow, that was the worst one yet. When is anyone going to say; "enough already"? There is nothing right about unbalanced racist propaganda. If the TTT truly speaks for the residents of the CNMI, then a lagging economy isn't the worst to be seen on the horizon. I see this debate as worsening from an intellectual distraction to the point where good people will be hurt. The TTT may well be hurting the cause of indigent rights, through pushing out obviously flawed arguments as in the latest video. Not that this one was as obviously flawed as the T. Saplan residency video. That was pretty stupid. This is just horrible.

Give the TTT their legitimate right to free speech and pursue the native culture. Politically though, their public words are everything thousands of Americans gave their lives to subdue. Those who see their approach, as flawed, need to speak up and denounce them. I met some great people on Saipan and I a have no doubt there are lots more. It's a shame for one group to publicly drag so many fine people down. The real citizens of Saipan should speak up and denounce this group now.

It is not going to get ugly cheesy breezy, in fact the morning line in Vagas has the 6-1 that the Senate passes by XMas and they will not take a bet against federalization passed 1-18-08.

How is that for a boulder? They are throwing this propaganda with chamber/business interest dough for sure...just like the legislatures claim that they themselves constructed PL - 15-108...pleeese.
