So much for the fireworks bill

Screw Chinese New Year.

Right now Garapan feels like George W Bush and the entire US Military are raining Freedom and Liberty down upon the good people of Saipan.

Jesus Christ.

I thought they outlawed fireworks?

There are enough people setting off fireworks in Garapan right now to fill the Hyatt Regency.

I hope they have enough Napoleon Wrasse in the buffet line to feed everybody.

I'm still sick and I'm trying to sleep. If you asked me right now, I'd say screw diversity, screw Federalization, screw the kumbaya, let's send 'em home.

Anyone who doesn't use fireworks can stay.

I'm going to be grumpy in the morning.

...and my six week old puppy is freaking out.

New legislature, everything begins again.

I don't really mind selling the stuff that's already on-island. But maybe this time they could actually pass the legislation (in time to warn the importers).

Gotta call you out on this one kap- the legislature did pass the fireworks bill- it is on the Governor's desk now. He must take action by 2/17/08. Anyone can call him in support of the law.

Next time it wouldn't hurt to do a tiny bit of research before posting a misinformed comment.

Typical, the lt signed the bill the day after the puppy freaked. God forbid, anyone with money should be left holding the bag for unexpended ordance. Funny, I like Kap, read the Trib article to mean a ban now. Forgot about the money side.

I'll be really surprised if the next 4'th, Christmas, 1 Jan. lunar holiday(did I miss any?), pass without many large explosions. Nobody checks the outgoing containers, think they will miss a few boxes of rockets incoming?).

On the bright side Angelo, Oreo might have an easier time dealing with T-storms. Oh right! Two years, two thunderstorms. Great Meme.
