Dream Interpretations

I had one of those dreams last night from which you never want to wake up. I don't know any better way to explain it.

In the dream I traveled to Virginia with one of our local elders to teach people about canoes and Chamorro warfare.

A girl I used to know in Orlando was at the Chamorro warfare presentation and gave me three foreign bills with hearts printed on them. What foreign currency has little red hearts?

Then I went to three different bars in Washington DC, where I kept running into people that I knew from college.

I saw a really good friend walk into the bar and when I went over to say hello, it wasn't him. He was wearing a Gryffindor scarf.

...and oh yeah, I was married to Patty Coleman!

I feel sorry for you if you read this post, but I'm excepting dream interpretations in the comments section.

I actually indirectly contemplated being married to you for 10 seconds. At the time, the thought was, "Angelo's Mom and Step-Dad would be awesome in-laws." That was it. :-)

I think it means that no money in the world can get you Patty, lol. The other stuff stumps me.

I'd make a great ex-husband, too.

The theme here is that "the past meets the present."

The Virginia, Orlando and the college connections were all actively sought out by you in an attempt to reconcile your past with who you are now realizing yourself to be.

In all cases of meetings in the dream, you were taking something of your past (and/or your
present identity) back in time to meet who you thought you were.

The meeting with the friend who walks in the bar is telling. It says that the wearer of the Gryffindor scarf is not who you thought it was.
The question, therefore, is who is really wearing the Gryffindor scarf? Does this symbolize YOU (given your well-documented fanship of things Harry Potter) or does it symbolize the friends from your past? I would suggest that who you met in the bar, my friend, was in fact, you.
The message your dream is giving you is that the past is not what (or who) you thought it was.
I would wager that there is no foreign currency
with little red hearts on it, but it would seem to me that there is a convergence (or conflict) of passion and money in your life symbolized by the hearts on the bills.

And finally, Patty Coleman is hot. If you didn't have a hot chick in your dream, I'd worry about you.
