PTI doesn't work in Guam...or does it?

I was in Guam in March and in April for about a week and a week and a half, respectively. Both times my PTI cellphone worked, I was just charged for roaming (I think).

This visit my phone won't work. Somebody told me that there is some combination of buttons I could press to make it work.

Anybody know how to make my phone work?

You have to key in a special code before you leave: *228 send. It's a one-time thing and then it should work. You should have gotten a text from PTI customer care in the first week of June.

To the best of my knowledge, there should be no roaming charges, just burn airtime as usual.

Submersion in water will often cure a recalcitrant cell phone.

Gee, Bruce, maybe I should try that with a computer hard drive ....

How's the campaign to not vote going?

As you can see from today's paper, Steve, the campaign is completely waterproof. Submersion is not a problem.

Many are called, few are chosen. Even fewer should be chosen.

Hardly a day passes when someone does not offer their assistance...telling me what to do with my campaign. HEHEHHH
