2012 in 2012: Still on Pace After Three Weeks

On Sunday and Monday I kicked things up a notch and ran my 9.2 mile trail.  It took me 93 and 98 minutes, respectively.  And then I was toast.  I took it easy on Tuesday, got in another long run on Wednesday, stumbled through a short run on Thursday, and then took two days off.

I'm picked things back up today with a 93 minute 9.2 mile run.  It snowed on Friday and iced over on Saturday.  Things had mostly melted by this afternoon, but it was still really cold.  The first half of my run was painful, but I loosened up with two miles to go.

For the year I've run 130.9 miles.  1881.1 miles to go.

Last week I was inspired to run with the thought of Tagaman.  The way I figure it, the swim will take me 60 minutes, the bike 2 hours, and the run about 90 minutes.  That means I need to be able to keep my heart rate up for over 4 hours by the end of March.  Run, run, run.  I was kind of tired this week, and was not so inspired.
