Flashback: Saipan Underwater Wedding

I while back I took some photos of an underwater wedding at the Grotto. Mike Tripp was also there. He shot and edited a video of the wedding and finally uploaded it to youtube two days ago.

The video shows the bride and groom (and witnesses) climbing the stairs down to the Grotto. They stop for a short interview with Morgan Rose before climbing over to the big rock, putting on their gear, and jumping in.

Once in the water they descend to the bottom of the underwater cave, where they find King Neptune waiting to perform the ceremony. They can't talk, so they use cue cards to exchange vows. After that they exchange rings, have a quick kiss, sign the necessary documents, and take a couple of swigs from a champagne bottle...all while underwater.

After the ceremony they swim over to the cave exit on the left for a few photos. Then they say goodbye to King Neptune and go back up to the surface.

Just another day in Saipan.
