Easter Afternoon Baseball

Some people get to wake up on Easter Sunday and eat pounds of chocolate, jelly beans, and other assorted goodies meant to rot your teeth. Not me. I Beautified the CNMI. I joined Friends of the Mariana Islands and Cinta Kaipat and family for a cleanup of Isa Drive between the Botanical Garden in Papago and Northern Marianas College in Fina Sisu.

Holy Chow, was this morning a long cleanup. At least I got to see Bev:

I haven't seen Bev since her trip to Palau. It was good to see you, Bev! When do I get to see your pictures?

After our cleanup event we went back to the Kaipat Compound in Koblerville for breakfast...and a nap. At least I tried to take a nap. Every 30 seconds I was woken up by an well intentioned, "BE QUIET!!!! UNCLE ANGELO IS TRYING TO TAKE A NAP!!!"

Somethings just weren't meant to happen. Taking a nap this afternoon was one of them, so after everyone was fed, we piled everyone into the cars and drove over to the airport field for a friendly game of baseball.
