Laulau Bay Cliff Jumping

I ran into several of the CNMI Soccer players and Coach Ziggy during this morning's Beautify CNMI cleanup of North AND South Laulau Beaches. They invited EJ and me to join them in some "cliff jumping," which is something that people like to do around here when Blockbuster runs out of new movies.

The cliff jumping spot is on the Kagman peninsula, just south of the Laolao Bay Golf Resort. It is at the end of the long coral road that starts near the yellow bus stop in San Vicente.

There are some smaller jumps right there at the end of the road, but if you want to try a 50 foot jump, you have to cross part of the golf course...just make sure that you don't bother the golfers.

When the golfers drove off in their golf carts, we ran across the grass to get closer to the water:

Then we climbed over the sharp rocks to get to the cliff's edge:

BONZAI!!!
After the jump, you have to swim around the cliff back to where the smaller cliff jumps are located.

Ziggy and EJ opted not to do the cliff jump. They posed for a souvenir photo instead.

didn't jump either. Taking photos and shooting video provided all the excitement I could handle.
