Allow we to take a short respite from Bangkok blogging to return to Japan. With all apologies to my Japanese friends, Japan as a country is insane. That's why Americans love it.

...but where else but Bangkok can you swim in your hotel pool while overlooking the city? Ok, you can probably do that in a lot of places.
