Ultimate Frisbee

Saipan Ultimate FrisbeeYER LAME: That's my team! The first letters of our first names spell YER LAME! From left to right we have Liz, me, Rob, Yosh, Melissa, Rob, and Eric.

This is probably my 3rd or 4th time playing Ultimate Frisbee ever...and we got 4th place!

...out of five teams!

Oh well, at least Dale got last...not that I'm being competitive or anything.

EJ, on the other hand, got first place. Her team didn't lose a single game. Good job, guys (and girl).

Champion Ultimate Frisbee PlayersWe are the Champions: Ben, Greg, Event Organizer Dale, EJ, Nick, Aaron, and Manny.

Oh well, there's always next year.

Big time kudos to Dale who put the whole event together. Everyone had a great time and everybody had ample playing time.

I'm not saying that I'll start coming on Fridays, but I'll definitely play in the next tournament.

I've got some pictures from the big Unity March.

The 1,200 seat Amphitheater at American Memorial Park was overflowing. People were standing in the aisles and along the grassy knolls on either side. I estimate that there were about 3000 marchers (I'll explain my calculation in my next post).

I shook hands with Wendy Doromal, Steve Woodruff, and said hello to Boni Sagana, Mark Hanson, and Jim Benedetto.

The march was peaceful.

I'll post pictures after I eat.

I want to play next time, Angelo. I was in Rota while this event was on, but really do want to join in.

There is nothing I would want more than to watch you on the playing field.

Let's cancel the comedy show and just go out and watch you being "athletic."
