The Saipan SCUBA Diving Blog et al

I take my role as the leading voice for the people of the CNMI that live in my apartment very seriously. If there is something going on around this island, I feel it is my duty to give my readers (both of them) my opinion.

Let's discuss blogging.

There have been well over 150 Saipan blogs created in the last year or so. About half of them get periodic updates and about a quarter get updated regularly. It seems that after the initial euphoria of creating one's very own space on the web, many bloggers just run out of steam.

It happens to the best of us. Harry Blalock, the man who strikes fear into the hearts of politicians throughout the CNMI, hasn't updated his Saipan Diver blog since....

HOLD THE PRESSES!!!!

Harry updated his blog!

Not only that, Mike Tripp is starting to update his Saipan SCUBA Diving Blog and Ken Phillips is updating his SoSaipan Blog.

Those three bring a lot of back to our blogosphere, Mike and Harry with their photos and stories of diving and Ken with his Turbitt-like wit.

I predict a Saipan blogging renaissance!

Harry's back? Let the bands play, the trumpets sound. The new folks over on Tinian are pretty darn good with the island tour, but underwater we go..

Oh yeah, your blog has been interesting lately. Love the puppy, any movies? Pmpkn is a bit enamoured of fuzzy white things which make noises.

Harry's seems to still be MIA!
Where did you see a new post?

He had a new post that it seems he has deleted.

He'll be back. With a vengeance.

Yeah, his post was a bit on the pissy side. Can't say as I blame him, what do a couple of words of attribution cost when measured against the quality of his photos? Send EE down to Olei on Saturday to obtain some pithy quotes from the large fellow.

It all started with a commercial when I was watching TV with the family. I was promised a bigger, better blog. Probably the same with the others, tho they won't admit it. Check their trashes. I got the topical ointment, too.

As for Jeff, I think he tends more toward sarcasm while I'm the ironic type. Or was that vice versa?

Why don't we ask Ron Hodges?

I think he was being sarcastic when he told contract workers to spit in the soup, yet ironic when he called me gay.
