The Conservation Victory of the Decade

Although I stopped counting how many media stories have been published on the Marianas Trench Marine National Monument when we hit 1000, the story from Climateshifts.org caught my eye.

I swear it has nothing to do with the fact that they link to my blog.
There is quite of bit of federal legislative action happening in the US that bodes well for marine conservation and coral reefs.

[snip}

Also check out the Saipan Blog, for a great first hand account of how a small band of marine conservationist pulled off the conservation victory of the decade. [emphasis mine]
Absolutely nothing.

EXCELLENT!!

It's all on your blog, but you may
want to consider offering the entire
story as a downloadable PDF
for other conservationists worldwide!
It's a great story, and would be a permanent
record of certain points and facts that may get lost
in the usual whitewash of history.

TRENCH WARS: Revenge of the Jedi
starring Angelo Villagomez as Luke TreeHugger
Agnes Mcpheters as Princess Mwar
Ike Cabrera as Hans
Andrew Salas as Lando
and Oreo as Oreo Kenobi
A small, rag tag band of conservationists
fights the system to pull of
the conservation victory of
the decade!

What, do you want to be Luke Treehugger?

Who gets to be R2D2? Brad Ruszala?

Doesn't Guam have more hookers than Saipan? You've got more military, so you must.
