Beautify CNMI T-shirts

beautify cnmi shirtsIn celebration of Beautify CNMI's third year I have commissioned new Volunteer T-shirts. The designer of the shirt is none other than Dexter Mendiola, the designer of the popular Fotten Gaga t-shirts. What do you think?

I had wanted to have the shirts to be ready for April's Island Wide Cleanup. Now I'm shooting for June's dog show, PAWS WARS: Episode 3 Revenge of the Boonie.

I helped clean up the beaches for over 14 years. Over the weekends the beer cans and trash would be back. Last weekend looking at the trash on Wing beach I have just fucking given up! Good luck! I have travelled and lived on Pacific islands in Micronesia and the South Pacific. With the exception of Tarawa atoll, Saipan is the trashiest (sic).

That's not true. I've been to other islands in Micronesia. Even compared to Guam we're practically Disneyland.

Saipan is practically Disneyland! No it is Dizzyland and dude you are living in another world!

No, I'm not. Compared to Majuro's illegal dump sites, Saipan is as clean as Singapore.

Yeah, it is a breadfruit.

When you volunteer for Beautify CNMI, you are planting breadfruit.

This is a concept we came up with when we first started the campaign.

I'll explain it fully to you the next time I see you.

By the way, thanks for coming to the BBQ today.

Saipan has illegal dump sites up the gazoo! Drive out to the Last Command Post and hike in the area between there and Banzai. People have dumped their household trash everywhere. The kicker is they drive right past the Lower Base Transfer Station where they are allowed 200 lbs of trash drop off free each week! WTF? The Kagman area is terrible also, check out the boonies going up to Forbidden Island. Drive along Naftan, Obyan, Ladder, Grotto surgar train road bed, or any slightly remote coral road in the boonies and there are dump sites all over this beautiful island. Some idiots from a on island medical clinic drove all the way to the top of Tapochau and dumped medical waste(used IV's and needles etc..) into the tourist trash bins. End of rant.
