Disabled List

Saturday night, while walking from the parking lot at Tyson's Corner to TGI Friday's I hurt my back.  It was sudden, and it hurt.  A lot.  Ouch my Sacroilia!

I think I did something while running, so yesterday I didn't run.  I'm not going to run today, either.

Fortunately, this will not put a damper on 2012 in 2012.  I've been putting in some extra miles both in terms of longer trails and occasional morning runs.  Last week I ran 39.9 miles, putting my annual total at 161.6 miles.

I still have plans to run a 5K on March 10 and compete in the Tagaman on March 31.  That gives me 40 days to prepare for the 5K and 61 for the triathlon.  I've not dropped as much weight as I would have hoped by now, so I'm going to mix things up in February with a little bit of diet.  No more sausage, egg, and cheese bagels from Breugger's and no more cookies and chips from Potbelly.  So if I'm in a bad mood in February, now you know why.
